Elbrook Cash & Carry, which operates a 26,000 sq. ft. depot in Mitcham, joined the Today’s Group on the 1st February to further expand and develop its business with the support and expertise of the Today’s Group team, based in Scunthorpe.

The Cash & Carry celebrated its 25th anniversary in October 2010 and has been named as a Grocer Top 30 elite wholesaler. In November it also received the Wholesaler of the Year 2010 accolade at the prestigious Asian Trader Awards. The business, which recently achieved a £105 million annual turnover, will now work in partnership with the Today’s Group to grow and expand its business.

Fukhera Khalid, managing director and owner of Elbrook, commented: “We are very excited to join the Today’s Group. We continually look to provide an enhanced service to our customers and expand our business - particularly in the licensed sector which is critical to us and a key strength of the Today’s Group. We had a number of options available to us when we left our previous buying group and we place great importance on the relationships we build with our partners.
