Chak89 graciously hosted a fundraiser for the Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi's foundation on Saturday 13th August 2016. Elbrook's director Frank Khalid who is friends with Afridi kindly gifted the Chak89 venue and food for the event. Thousands of pounds were raised and Shahid thankful to the team at Elbrook. Several of Shahids team mates came to support the event.
